Ten- and 11-year-old accused of attempted murder and robbery

Two brothers charged with the attempted murder and robbery of two boys aged nine and 11 have had their case referred to crown court.

Appearing at Doncaster Youth Court today,  the brothers, aged 10 and 11, were told that they would face trial at Sheffield Crown Court. The first hearing will take place on the morning of 15 June.

The alleged offences were said to have taken place in the village of Edlington, near Doncaster, on 4 April.
