Children with disabilities are being invited to design the chancellor’s Christmas cards.
The Every Disabled Child Matters campaign has been selected as this year’s charity and is asking all children with disabilities to submit their card designs, themed ‘Enjoying Christmas’, before 5 October.
A panel of judges will then pick 12 short-listed designs which will be sent to Alastair Darling to choose the winning design.
All 12 short-listed designers will be invited to a tea party at Number 11 on 30 October to find out which design has won the competition.
Steve Broach, EDCM campaign manager, said: “We are thrilled that EDCM has been chosen for the chancellor’s Christmas card scheme. This is a wonderful opportunity for disabled children and young people to show their talents.”
