While many people across the country were tucking into turkey and trimmings and watching the Queen's speech on Christmas day, a significant proportion of social workers were still at work.

According to Community Care's recent poll, more than 20 per cent of visitors to the website were working or on call on 25 December.

The latest poll asks:- Will you be looking for a new job in the New Year? So far, 80 per cent of respondents have said they will be seeking pastures new. To make your vote count, go to the home page and vote today.
