Charity Women’s Aid is giving children and young people affected by domestic violence the chance to speak out about their experiences in order to influence services.

Under its Kidspeak initiative, it is setting up an online message board next month where children can submit their views and feelings on issues affecting them.

Women’s Aid will collate the messages and present them to ministers as part of its lobbying to improve services for children affected by domestic violence.

The message board will be open from 4 to 30 June and will contain links to helplines.
