Approved Social Workers in the North West will be meeting next week at the launch of a new book on the role of the nearest relative under the Mental Health Act 1983.
Around 150 ASWs are expected to attend the event on July 5 where the Nearest Relative Handbook by mental health specialist lawyer David Hewitt will be presented.
The North West Approved Social Workers Interest Group organises regular events for all ASWs in the North West and North Wales.
