Systems at Nottingham city council social services have been called into question after social workers allegedly removed a baby from an 18-year-old woman without obtaining a court order.
It has emerged that the child was returned to his mother yesterday following an emergency High Court ruling.
Social workers will today make another attempt to take the boy into care.
