Highlight: The range of free help that is available to working parents and carers, including downloadable fact sheets and a helpline for disadvantaged families offering legal advice.
The site is easy to navigate due to being split into three zones for families, employers and those in search of examples of best practice. Within these there are dedicated sections for groups such as fathers and new parents. Opportunities for parents to speak to each other are also provided through an online forum and there are organised meetings for families with disabled children.
Despite numerous case studies of family-friendly employers, there were no examples of how these affected families themselves, making the site a bit policy heavy in places.
