Description
Introducing Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults e-learning Accredited by the Open College Network (OCNSER) and endorsed by The Social Care Association, this brand new e-learning is designed for 3 responsibility levels: care and health workers, local authority practitioners and managers. It's the only e-learning currently available to explain how to use the statutory powers of intervention. We are hosting two events, one in Manchester and one in London, to launch Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults - The Toolkit, and would be really pleased if you would join us. Our speakers include Nick Johnson, CEO, Social Care Association and David Gittens, Director, Open College Network (SE Region). Nick will talk about the pivotal importance of adult safeguarding; about getting it right and why training should uphold quality and consistency, while David will share his thoughts on the value of accredited learning, and how this support the quality agenda. And, of course, we will be showcasing our Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults Toolkit and giving you the chance to have a hands-on play with the e-learning itself. When?
