The law and processes relating to children’s social care are complex and frequently changing. This interactive course will clarify the duties local authorities have to support children and families, and will set out the proper procedures that should be followed when there is a genuine concern for a child’s welfare and/or safety. By the end of the course we hope that you will be able to give clear advice and information to parents and carers about what they can expect from children’s social care services.
