This one-day course will provide an opportunity to learn about and share practice in providing vision services to children, young people and families from black and other minority ethnic groups. Topics covered will include: genetics, communication, cultural barriers to disability and community awareness. Participants will consider research evidence and examples of emerging practice and case studies.
