A dementia friendly community is one in which it is possible for the greatest number of people to live a good life with dementia; where people with dementia are enabled to live as independently as possible and to continue to be part of their community, but at the same time are met with understanding and given support where necessary. Block Contract for Residential, Nursing and Respite Care Home Services, Enfield Council
Enfield Council is seeking an experienced organisation to provide residential, nursing and short-stay rolling respite care services, registered with the Care Quality Commission, for older people with a range of complex needs. Interested parties will have the commercial ability to invest, design, develop and provide the new care home provision. This will enable the decommissioning of existing internally operated care home services with a view to re-providing the services in the independent sector under one purpose built development at an identified site in the Borough.
The service will specialise in providing dementia and challenging behaviour care services. The new care home service will be provided in a safe environment that treats people as individuals whilst promoting dignity, independence, well being, choice, control and social inclusion.

Family Group Conference Service Contract, London Borough of Southwark
EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST FOR THE FAMILY GROUP CONFERENCE SERVICE CONTRACT
In order to meet its requirements under the Public Law Outline to have undertaken a family meeting prior to the commencement of any court proceedings, the London Borough of Southwark invites Expressions of Interest from suitably qualified organisations for the provision of a Family Group Conference service for children and families subject to care proceedings, child protection procedures and children in need.
The contract will be for an initial term of three years, with an estimated value of £216,000. There will be an option to extend the contract for two twelve month periods at the sole discretion of the council.

HAMPSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL ADULT SERVICES DEPARTMENT PANEL OF PREFERRED PROVIDERS FOR DOMICILIARY CARE AND SUPPORT SERVICES
Hampshire County Council has a duty to deliver the highest possible quality of service to clients in receipt of Domiciliary Care and Support Services. The Council aims to support clients and their carers to continue to live in their own homes and in their chosen communities, by enabling clients to maintain their independence and preserve their quality of life.
Hampshire County Council’s Adult Services Department has in place a high quality Panel of Preferred Providers for Domiciliary Care and Support Services (the ‘Panel Arrangement’ or ‘Panel’) from which it commissions some Domiciliary Care and Support Services. The Panel was established in 2011 for a period of three years and commenced on 18th July 2011.
