Our client is a large private healthcare provider and they are looking to develop and expand their business into domicially care services. They are looking for an experienced Operational Manager who can fulfil the following objective:o uphold the best possible standards of care and service provision for service by conducting support inspections as a tool for continuous improvement which will be used for benchmarking purposes, to identify areas of non compliance, to provide feedback and support to the Regional and Senior Management teams.o Design, Improve and Monitor the operation of the internal systems and process of the organisation as well as the compliance to current and up to date good practise guidelines as well as the adherence to the relevant regulatory bodies regulations and national minimum standards as they apply to the registered settings.o To support the operational compliance in terms of new businesses that are acquired, new tender wins and working closely with the teams in the branches (currently 5) across the business.You will need to express:o Excellent analytical, clinical and auditing skills and experience in being a regulator in the past for the Government or for a Domiciliary Care business - expectation is that the Manager will have experience of circa 5 years plus in the field o Must be able to assess compliance of our clients' Community Services care polices and procedures andthe various Regulatory Frameworks.o Good experience in staff and audit management.o To collect evidence in an objective and non biased, prejudiced manner in order to make informed decisions and judgments about the quality of care and service provision, the systems and processes of our clients' healthcare that are being audited. o Ability to manage self, and work as part of a team.o Must have a good working knowledge and understanding of the Care Standards Act 2000 and associated National Minimum Standards for England/Wales as they apply to the registered settings within our clients' healthcare and of associated regulatory frameworkso Ability to manage multiple engagements and competing priorities in a rapidly growing, fast-paced, interactive, results-based team environment.o Need to have good presentation skillso Computer expertise and knowledge of healthcare IT systemso Be flexible as there is the possibility of additional hours and stay overnight when required o Have a sense of adventure, sense of humour and a gritty determination.o To be proactive and to make a positive contribution to the Quality Department and in turn the standards of care and service delivery and reputation of our clients' healthcare.o Car driver essentialTo apply for this particular role please email your CV to cdavies@bbt.co.uk quoting CD-OP01.
