The Children's Society plans to cut 115 jobs next March in a bid to save £5m but insists none of its 90 projects will be affected.

The plans, which will see five of the charity's eight regional offices closed, follow a drop in donations.

A deficit of £11m accrued by the charity has now been eliminated.

Chief executive Bob Reitemeier said most redundancies were being made at management level.
