Birmingham Unison members are due to meet next week to discuss
the threat of compulsory redundancies (not affecting social
services), and cuts to sick leave.
In the London Borough of Bromley, Unison is threatening to
ballot on industrial action should the council confirm plans to put
out to tender one-third of home help services.
Social work members of Unison in the London Borough of Islington
will meet this week to discuss objections to new senior
practitioner posts.
Sheffield Unison remains in dispute over planned cuts to
conditions.
