New research to be presented at the British Psychological Society annual conference "kills off" the link between online gaming and violence.
Apparently the game players felt more relaxed on average after playing World of Warcraft. I don't know a great deal about that game but I don't think it's particularly violent - I'd like to see more details about the research though.
And, there's an interview with Poppy Shakespeare author Clare Allen in the Telegraph.
There's also a review of the channel 4 film on the Independent:
All the same, it felt flat. Poppy's descent and N's mirroring rise felt formulaic, and Allan's literary roots showed a little too plainly: Catch-22, Kafka, as well as, obviously, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest.
