« ADHD, depression and drugs | Main | Iris Robinson, vitamin D and working your hours »

Mind Hacks have done a very good job of rubbishing comments made by the head of Northern Ireland's health committee Iris Robinson MP, that homosexuality was an "abomination" and something that can be treated by psychiatrists.
Elsewhere, people who work overtime are at increased risk of anxiety and depression. Don't do it folks - clockwatching is good for you. As soon as it turns 5pm, the only trace of you in the office should be your spinning chair. And while I'm at it - take your full hour for lunch. Leave the office at 12 or 1 and walk back in the door exactly an hour later. Believe me it'll soon become a habit and you'll definitely feel the benefit.

And if any more evidence were needed (it isn't) then a new study links vitamin D deficiency with depression. And how do you get vitamin D? By daylight - getting out of the office for an hour each day will get a load of daylight and vitamin D into your body, making you feel happier. I rest my case.
