The Guardian has usefully created one of its photo galleries to illustrate how social workers have been depicted on film. It’s all to do with the launch of Precious, in which Mariah Carey plays a social worker.
I have to say though, that of the options provided, if I needed a social worker I’d go for Jennifer Lopez. I just feel like she’d understand me.
