According to the Birmingham Post, a report into the council’s children’s services, expected to be published soon, will expose ‘systemic failure’. Obviously, the report itself isn’t out yet but Jon Hunt, a member of the inquiry team, is quoted as saying: “We have foundvery deep-seated and deep-rooted problems in children’s social care.”
