Social work media campaign shortlisted for award

I'm very pleased to announce that Community Care's Stand Up Now for Social Work campaign has been shortlisted in the British Society of Magazine Editors' campaign of the year award.
Not only is this very pleasing for the journalists who work on Community Care, I think it is also a good thing for social workers as it means that the wider media is perhaps finally recognising the importance of what they do and why it is worth supporting them.

Certainly, outside one or two serial offenders, I have the impression that most of the media has been taking a more enlightened view recently.
