Babies perceived negatively by parents linked with later attachment problems

The British Psychological Society has summarised a piece of research linking negative parental perceptions with later attachment problems.
The researchers recommend screening new mothers to see whether they have a negative perception of their children.

Would be interested to hear what people think of that proposal...
