A couple of intriguing research reports have suggested links between mental health and the immune system and inflammation.
Apparently vets are four times more likely to commit suicide than the rest of the population. I find this surprising - I would have thought that working with animals would make you happy but then perhaps there are other issues such as isolation to take into account.

Labour leadership candidate David Miliband was interviewed by The Guardian at the weekend and mentioned social care as one of the issues the party could have done better on.

I've had a bit of break from blogging over the last couple of weeks, apart from a bit of election stuff, so I shall dip my toe back in the water with a couple of interesting links.
