I have noticed an unexpected outcome and I can't find the box I need to tick..........I noticed this 'outcome' gradually..... It sort of crept up on me, quietly; with no fanfare it slowly became more and more noticeable. Not just to me either. Others had noticed it too. Even though their children were all at different life stages, all doing different things, this 'outcome' had shown up in their lives as well.
Why? What had happened? Why now?
I puzzled over it, trying to find what had caused this 'outcome'. All these different lives, different interests, different people, different families............The only common thread....... A PERSONAL BUDGET... could this be it? .......
YES I think so!!!
In control of their lives, living the life that made sense to them, living life at their own pace with people that like and love them. Why was I so surprised that my son was taking an interest in the world and people around him? That he was asking questions, wanting to know about things that were happening. Engaged in a way he had never been before. Okay he still had his moments, but don't we all have those, but there weren't as many and they were resolved much quicker and easier. He has more joy in his life. A Personal budget had made this difference......
So about that box: Content...Interested...Happy √√√
