Corin Williams looked at how standards have improved in adults' social services, since the introduction of star ratings, and establishment of seven key outcomes in his article "When the only way is up"

Finally, over in the Children's section, Amy Taylor looks at how some councils are trying to minimise their responsibilities, when it comes to young offenders and housing them, in her piece "A place to live is not enough"
