Given it's national older people's day, this post has an elderly feel to it. It's not good news from the States (is it ever?) where 94% of nursing homes have breached health and safety standards, the New York Times reports.
About 17 percent of nursing homes had deficiencies that caused "actual harm or immediate jeopardy" to patients, said the reportThat's scary. I had a relative who used to warn me "never get old, son". It's a sad state of affairs.
