The snow is beginning to melt at ComCare's offices, but one thing that will stay with me long after the big thaw is a simple yet hard hitting campaign from homelessness charity Crisis.
It simply asks: "Love the snow? Try sleeping in it."

On Monday much of the nation was absorbed in amazment (or horror) at the sight of the greatest level of snowfall seen in the this country for years. As it became clear that the UK was effectively closing down for the day, many ventured out to build snowmen and have fun.
But come Tuesday it had become an inconvenience for most. The Crisis campaign was perfectly timed to catch people as they began to think about the biggest picture.

It also reminded me of a barbaric practice used by some London boroughs to "move homeless people on": that of hosing or throwing cold water onto door steps so they would freeze, rendering them uninhabitable. I sincerely hope it is no-longer used. But sadly, I suspect it is.

I thought exactly the same thing, wandering around Victoria in my lunch break on Tuesday.

Nice social-media / viral inspired juxtaposition by Crisis there.
