Michael Jackson - what chance of normality for his children?

In the midst of the worldwide hullabaloo surrounding the death of Michael Jackson (which for those of us old enough has strong echoes of Elvis's death) I found myself wondering about how his three children are coping and what the future might bring them.

We know very little about Michael Jr, Paris Michael and Prince Michael II, except the odd (very odd) glimpses we have had into the edges of the Jackson fantasy bubble. Those glimpses have been of children draped in blankets or with faces hidden behind elaborate carnival masks.
Ever since the incident of the baby and the balcony Jackson's parenting skills have been debated and it is hard for us to imagine his children having anything resembling normal lives to date. What is clear is that like every child they will need a lot of support - what is different may be the kind of support they need.

The first hurdle is the funeral - how will this kids be allowed to grieve? Will they be given the space to grieve? Or will they actually prefer or find it normal to hide behind veils or masks?
That is the nub of the problem, as we speculate on the outside, we don't know what might seem normal from inside their apparent bubble.

To many of us this may seem like an opportunity to live more normal lives, to escape at least a little from the notoriety as other children of the famous have attempted. Think of film-maker Duncan Jones recently, but not for the first time, "umasked" as Zowie Bowie.

But our idea of a normal childhood could seem utterly alien to the Jackson Jrs, they will need a great deal of support to make the transition they face.

After all, we can truly say that the death of this father will completely rip his children's world apart.

You do worry about the children. Will the press leave them alone? Not likely.

It’s been awhile since the world news crash of Michael Jackson death. Many were wondering what would happen to his children, and if there are assets or property to divide for his children. We all know that MJ have liabilities to those people who sue him for immoral acts but let’s accept it many where sad and felt so much emptiness because of his sudden death. Well, with Jackson family and wealth I don’t think the kids where be needing money now, since I believe that MJ’s relatives will never abandoned their own blood.
