The Sun claims responsibility for Baby P sackings

The Sun is claiming its petition led to the sacking of four Haringey council staff following the Baby P case.

It describes the removal of the staff as a "a victory" for its readers and asks why the council took so long to recognise public anger.

Its coverage makes no mention of the facts leading up to the dismissals.
