There's
an interesting opinion piece on Spiked by Ken McLaughlin in which he argues that the new Give Them A Voice social work recruitment campaign and the government's attempts to portray social work in a more positive light "betrays a disdainful assumption that it is the general public who are the problem" and it is simply their attitudes which must be changed.
