Spring

Breaking Dawn, clear blue skies, spring is on its way,

Slightest chill down your spine, Winters trying to stay,

Step outside, big deep breath, sunshine on your face,

Remembering days of lazy summers, lived at your own pace,

Daffodils, try their best, to emerge from sleep,

Stretching through the cold bare soil, yellow heads they peep,

Climbing high up to the sun, stretching for the warm,

It’s wonderful, springs nearly here, and new life is born,

Crocuses shake their heads, yawning as they wake,

Two more days of spring sun, is all that it will take

Before they burst in Splendour, Colours all abound,

And all the tree`s will come alive, with the slightest sound,

So enjoy your spring, with all around, before I hear you say,

 It can’t be very long, until summers on the way
