Ask any reporters who've covered
conferences, particularly the ones involving overnight stays, and they'll tell
you that most of the time, they can't wait to get away.
Last month came one glorious
exception: the Association of Directors of Adult Services' spring seminar in
the Carden Park Hotel, set in 750 acres of rural Cheshire.
