What is social work like in the US? Is it different to here in the UK? Surely many of the issues must be the same, even if some of the systems and structures are different. One good way to find out is to have a look at some of the US social work bloggers, and that's exactly what I'm going to do now. I think it's really valuable to read the personal accounts of people who are prepared to write anonymously and honestly about the day to day experience of their job and its impact on their lives.
