One of my regular Google news alerts at
Community Care is on the subject of care homes. Here's just one recent example -
seven staff suspended over claims including assault on a resident with dementia. There's a story like this nearly every day.
There's much evidence to show such cases of abuse of vulnerable adults are widespread, but there's also
evidence to show that support services are inadequate.
