Only 48% of health and social care employers are happy for staff to take time off for a Christmas party this year - and that's as long as they don't have to pay for it.
Yet three quarters (74%) of managers say a positive approach to Christmas is "good for staff morale", according to a survey by the Chartered Management Institute.
