Australian employers working in partnership with recruitment agency HCL are urging British social workers to say "g'day" to the prospect of working down under.
Representatives from the state governments of Victoria and the Northern Territory visited London recently for an event organised by HCL Social Care, which has offices in Sydney and Melbourne.
They told a gathering of 85 social care professionals at the Australian High Commission that British social workers are "hugely admired for their knowledge of socio-economic issues and tried and proven methods of client care".
