I've got so many ways I could go with this blog entry I don't even know where to start.
a) Do I take the route of how appalling it is that a 17-year-old can manage to get strung out on meth? And cocaine. And ecstasy. And pot. (Of course. Because it they're using, they're always smoking pot.)
b) Do I take the route of how appallingly bad services are in my state for said 17-year-old strung out on meth et, al?
c) Do I take the route of how, in theory, a bulldog mother is great? But if you are on the receiving end of said bulldog....well...one of my hiney cheeks is a bit smaller today than it was a couple of nights ago.
d) Do I take the route of teaching you all about meth?
f) Do I take the original martyr route of it's not MY fault your kid is strung out and there are little to no options for him?
g) Do I take the second martyr route and detail all the needless phone calls I made on behalf of this family?
OR
h) Do I opt for the path of least resistance and call it a day?
I'm thinking I like the looks of "h" right about now... ->
