As you well know, I assess people in crisis. I get called, I go and talk to them and based on a series of questions, observations, summations, and good 'ole instincts I make a professional judgment. I've talked to drug abusers, alcohol abusers, child abusers, wife abusers, cutters, gamblers, bi-polars, schizophrenics, boderline personalities, depressives, those with eating disorders, homeless people, felons, and victims of most of the above.
Based on my many years of experience and highly scientific methods I've reached the following conclusion: 
The most suicidal mammal on the planet?
That would be the brown ground squirrel.
