To all you people who work in nursing homes: I hate to tell you how to do your job because I'm sure you're great at it. It's a job I'm not sure I could do, and I know it's a job that I certainly don't want. Not at this juncture anyway. So, thank you for your contribution to society. Seriously. The elderly need people like you on their side.
However.
When you have a little old man on the "locked" dementia unit, it's probably best that he doesn't have the code to get OUT of said unit. Especially when he's told several people that he wants to kill himself and will run out in the middle of traffic to prove his point. ->
