Lord.
Last week was so busy I was scared to go on-call last night. I've got tons to share but no brain power to collect my thoughts in any coherent fashion as I was up late. All I can say is this: There's a keg of koolaide out there somewhere in my area, and it's clearly making the rounds.
I will offer you, instead, this economic anecdote via a short conversation I had in the store yesterday:
Her: Where are the Snickers?
Me: Here's some right here. (I'm not going to lie. I peruse the candy aisle. Regulary.)
Her: I need the two dollar bag.
Me: Um, I think this would be the four dollar bag.
Her: That's half my grocery budget.
On a completely different note, I was driving in my neighborhood yesterday and happened to notice that all decked out in someone's living room bay window, complete with all the trimmings was.....
A Christmas tree.
I kid you not.
