So I got tagged to do this silly book thing. Find the closest book, turn to page 56, skim down to the fifth sentence, and write about it.
The absolute closest book is sitting right here: Wizard and Glass: The Dark Tower IV by Stephen King. This book would be The Geek's--he's a huge fan of the series. He's tried to get me to read it, but I never made it past page 100 of the first book. Just couldn't get into it.
Here is the the sentence:
"Even following Eddie this far into the riddledom's Twilight Zone had caused Blaine's sanity to totter. "
I'm stopping right there. It's an oddly appropriate sentence considering the nature of my blog/job. Plus I'm just not in the mood to get all philosophical this morning. I'm still trying to decide if I'm going to work out now or later. And whether a slice of pumpkin cake is an appropriate breakfast.* I mean, it's not any worse than a doughnut or pastry, right? And if I didn't put icing on it when I made it last night, it would be a no-brainer, because then it would be pumpkin bread. Obviously OK for breakfast.
