Walking face first into sign posts on the sidewalk?
Doesn't just happen on the comic pages.
Clearly, it was a metaphor. And foreshadowing.
Because I would like to point out this happened two hours BEFORE I discovered that, nestled comfortably on The Diva's "mixed tape" she received from a birthday party this weekend, was Rick Springfield's Jesse's Girl.
And Tommy Tutone's Jenny (8675309)--No audio on this one when I You Tubed it.
And Joan Jett's I Love Rock and Roll--It's as bad as you remember.
AND Kiss's Rock and Roll all Night.....Full confession forthcoming: I'm totally aware of the ramifications of this, because you probably will lose what little respect you had for me to begin with. I can feel my readership plummeting right now.
