So here's my third installment in what has unwittingly become my "shock jock" series.
I promise, I'll quit after this! Maybe. Depends on how much I feel the need to cyber-stalk these guys over the weekend.
Neal Boortz, anyone?
Yeah, me either.
He's obviously educated. And a pilot.
And a yahoo.
Neal Boortz on the victims of hurricane Katrina:
"That wasn't the cries of the downtrodden. That's the cries of the useless, the worthless. New Orleans was....a city of parasites...." (00:45 in the video)
He goes on for a while about it if you can stomach it.
But wait! There's more!
He is also of the belief that should there be a pending national crisis, the rich should be saved before the poor. The rich, you see, aren't a "drag on society."
This isn't thoughtful commentary. Or punditry. Or intellectualism.
This is bile.
And what bothers me more than the fact that someone would actually say these words on public airways is that someone can actually make a living saying these words on the public airways day after day after day.
Happy weekend, everyone. Thanks for the nice words about my cat the corpse. Sigh. ->
