Seeing as I'm on a forced hiatus from Facebook, I thought I might do a bit of an experiment.
I registered my blogging self on Facebook.
Say you: Why?
Say me: It was a compulsive moment.
My blog will continue as it always has: mostly personal accounts of my experiences at work and some random junk thrown in now and again. Music will always be here in some form or fashion, as will the rants and the whining.
However, I run across stories all the time that I would like to blog about but then I get sidetracked with something else and never get around to them. There just aren't enough hours in the day, ya know? I figured Facebook would be a good forum for posting links to those stories and doing the occassional status update about my job in real time. * Updates and links will not be hourly, or even daily, so I won't bog down your newsfeed with bilge like: "Reas is in the back yard picking up dog poo and spying on her neighbor while jamming to The Raconteurs."
At any rate, I have three whole friends right now on my new Facebook account. And while three is OK--well, let's face it. Three sucks. So, if you would like to be my friend I would love to get a virtual knock from you on my FB door. All you have to do is search for "Reas Kroicowl". I'm willing to bet all the beer and chocolate in my house I'm the only one registered under that name on the entire site.
As for my personal FB account? That remains a mystery. I've decided to wait it out until next week. If I don't hear from them, I'm starting from scratch.
Bastards. ->
*OK, really? That's not the case at all. It's merely an extension of the Trench Warfare (tm) brand. Although I refuse to tweet. I have my standards.
