What about you? Have you thought of moving on or retraining?

If so, what would be the exciting move you would undertake?

It doesn't have to be real, include your dream!

Personally I must be stupid as I am thinking of going for an MA, after qualifying I promised I would never go back to university. Glutton for punishment I guess ;)

As a foster carer who has looked after children of different faiths and cultures, I'm rather wary of the cncept of a 'guide to muslim children'. In my experience, children are unique and not defined by one aspect of their identity, and also from experience I can say that one muslim can be very different to another, and a 'one size fits all guide' is potentially as disrespectful as no guide at all. I always take guidance from a child's family, as they best know what traditions are important to them.

I do know some muslim carers who had a muslim child placed with them, but they were entirely different denominations, and it was a disaster -just as placing a Roman Catholic Child with a Seventh day adventist might be.
