Another bank holiday, another forecast for bad weather Sad

It's great having the extra day but sunshine wouldbe the icing on the cake - we've got a bbq too on Sunday - soggy burgers anyone?

What plans have people got for the long weekend?

Erm, finishing off my PQ6 (yes, I must be one of the last ones... ). In a very selfish way, I don't mind if it's a bit drizzly as I can see myself getting distracted very easily..

 work for me too.

i am in my second year on the degree course and the pressure is really on. if anyone is interested i am 1. evaluating interventions and policies conncerned with co-occurring mental health and substance misuse problems, and 2.  if the recommendations from  The Laming Report have been acheived. thats this weeks two after that i have another two to be done by the 8th june. its really quite stressfull and hard to really learn when it has to be so quick.moan, moan, moan....

hopwever tomorrow night i am having a meal with some friends which is my incentive for working hard all day.

Just got back from a lovely day on the coast with my partner and stepson. The weather was as lovely as the ice cream was cold. Not a hint of rain all day here in sunny Cumbria. Marvellous.

I feel I was being all grumpy now because I went to a bbq on Saturday and the weather was lovely! we were meant to have a house warming bbq on sunday but unfortunately that was cancelled due to the rain. it was all doom and gloom though - I even managed to slip in some karaoke!

opps sorry we had a glorious bank holiday.  A bit windy but despite the factor 50 I still managed to get a bit sunburnt - oh my poor neck.  Nothing like an icecream on the beach, time with my family and no work for an additional day.  Wish more bank holidays were like it.

I think I'm a bit more north than yourself Stuart.  I told my mum not to buy my son sandals yesterday though, every year without fail we buy him sandals anticipating sun and the weather starts to deteriorate.  Oh well at least my vegetables will be happy.  I'll keep hoping though.
