i'm planning to relate my dissertation (which is a research proposal) to my next placement. Although i'm interested in issues surrounding older people I know my next placement will not be in this area and I thought it would be difficult to base my dissertation upon this topic.
Has anyone else completed a research proposal and related it to their placement? were there any benefits in doing this?
Also does any one know of any good text book references or internet info on issues of substance misuse and learning disability
