In fairness to BASW it has created a forum on my.BASW under the heading of "College of Social Work" with two topics running "BASW-The College of Social Work" that currently has 8 blogs from 6 different bloggers and "But is this what we really want?" with 33 posts from 16 members. With no response from Hilton to any of them! I suspect he is a believer in the management technique of treating social workers as mushrooms - keeping them in the dark and covering them in m.....!
So where are you Hilton? BASW - an Organisation I devoted much time and many years of my professional career to - used to be far more open and honest than under your leadership. I was often a minority voice but never did I hit such a 'wall of silence' - you may disagree with what BASW members are saying but at least respond to them.
Where are the 'wise heads' of BASW - Hilton needs telling where he is going wrong and the serious damage that he is doing to BASW.
