    GSCC Hearings

Can anyone give some insight into why the GSCC only publish notification of hearings the day before they are to be heard and not ven then the location of those public hearings? Are they intending that the public do not attend or are they remarkably disorganised?

My other query is, why, when the Care Standards Tribunal (CST) publish dates/location of hearings, cannot the GSCC also, as do the CST give the names of the persons who make up a hearing panel - are the GSCC trying to hide these details? Is there something special about GSCC committee members that require some kind of exceptional secrecy - personally I would liketo knowthe identity of those persons charged with the public office of deciding the registration of social care workers.

Very odd given the GSCC promote transparency and openess.
