Community care law researcher Lucy Series has dug up some interesting stuff on councils' approach to resource allocation systems.
She asked them how their RASs converted assessments into entitlements and found that none provided sufficient detail on how this was done.
As personal budgets are supposed to be about making transparent the level of support available to individuals this is surprising to put it mildly.
Does anyone have any experience of a more transparent approach?
