Because of an illness, I may have to re-evaluate my position in my professional capacity. Can anyone tell me how I would go about registering with the NHS as a counsellor. I am qualified in EMDR, have experiance in counselling in many areas and have a degree in Soocial Work. Any help would be much appreciated.

I appreciate your concern, I don't wish to offend you personally but Blessings is not a direct comment to an individual but as a thank you for reading. May I suggest that if you don't like my blessings that you don't read or comment to my letters.

Mant people write other comments and where does it end, not saying"Thank you, God Bless, Sincerely yours, Regards, etc"

What if i signed it LPL? I suppose you would have a problem with that?

 It doesn't bother me at all re blessings in fact i feel that it is your personal  choice what you choose to put at the endof your question.

Rev. Jack ,  I think your best option would be to canvass the local NHS Personell Department and ask what vacancies are available (they dont always advertise them) and if none are, ask their advice.  Another option would be the field of Occupational Health.

You said you have experience in counselling. Are you qualified as a counsellor? I think that you may need to be.

If so you might want to contact GP practices and get advice from them about practice counsellors or similair.
