I'm currenty looking for a new support work role in a different field to the one I'm in at present.
Has anyone got any recommendations about job agencies which have a good/sizeable presence in the north-west and/or Manchester??
I have registered with some organisations and have just received a registration form from another company, which is way down South, so I'm not sure I'm going to fill out this form and register with this company, as it seems to be a largely southern based operating company...I want to make sure I register with a few good ones so that I'm not wasting £40 plus on numerous different CRBs with some organisations that may not find me work or the kind of work I want to be in.
If anyone has any suggestions and recommendations, it'd be much appreciated. The area/s I'm interested in finding work are: homelessness, substance/alcohol misuse, mental health, supported housing.

Try Semester recruitment? You will have to pay an upfront £40 for a CRB but they guarantee you this back upon completion of so many hours work. They were very helpful to me, listening to the areas of work I wanted and working to suit this....
